When polyresin fits
Polyresin supports sculptural forms, stone effects and detailed surfaces. It is commonly used for tabletop, floor-standing and garden-inspired designs. Evaluate wall thickness, finish consistency, pump access and the protection around projecting details.
When glazed ceramic fits
Glazed ceramic offers a smooth, reflective surface and natural variation in glaze. It works especially well for compact decorative fountains. Buyers should agree acceptable glaze variation and examine how the basin and pump are protected in transit.
Compare landed risk
Do not compare unit price alone. Review net and gross weight, carton volume, inner protection, drop-test expectations, replacement policy and expected retail handling. The better material is the one that fits the channel and risk profile.
